Golden State Bridge, Inc., the prime contractor, and FD Thomas Inc., the painting subcontractor on the Foresthill project, have received the Golden Gate Partnership Recognition Award from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations Cal/OSHA Consultation Service. Golden Gate recognition was developed to provide motivation and support to employers who proactively work with their employees and the Cal/OSHA Consultation Service.

Both Golden State Bridge, Inc., and FD Thomas Inc.’s managers and employees have demonstrated a commitment to continuously improve the effectiveness of its workplace safety and health management system on the Foresthill Road Bridge Seismic Retrofit and Paint project.
